A Gigantic Dwarf

Taking the illusion of a conjecture as the authentic object is like trying to walk on the beautiful white clouds without knowing the danger of it.

You think you feel it but you do not get the sense of it.
You believe you know it but you have no clue.
You talk as if you understand it but you can never describe it perfectly.

Imagine that you are now standing on a layer of ice and when it cracks, you also fall deep under into the ocean. The layer of ice is like the illusion you see in front of you. You thought that it looks like what you have seen on the surface but actually it has something more to it, something that will break you down entirely or pull you into a realm of bewilderment. It's an intriguing, a glamorous and a glistening thing that bewitches your mind, spirit, and sometimes, even your heart. This thing is what I called, smug. Isn't it interesting that this word seems to be implying that someone who behaves so is a total fool or dupe who does not notice his/her defects?

If we don't want to slip into the icy hole and freeze ourselves, we'll have to scrutinize the thing we see and make sure that it is not another conjecture we are making.  We have to be really sure before we say something, do something, or make comment about something. We are not the Omniscient God, who knows the answer to all things. We'll just have to be more careful and humbler so that we can still fly on the cloud without taking a false step and drop to the ground painfully into eternity.

A dwarf like us can be a giant that embraces the entire view of the world, and never worries the tripping over a pitfall because we have the ability to cover the tiny holes with our enormous minds.
